identity is confirmed, the customer would be sent a verification code, using
which he can log on to this account. Users are recommended to change their
password in the first log in itself in order to prevent their account from any
unauthorized intrusion.
Apart from the above method, customers
can also call the Gmail Contact number team, which would then be routed to the password recovery team. The team would
ask certain account related questions to prove the identity of the user, and
then share the verification details on their registered contact points.
Customers can then use this to recover their account. In such a scenario, it is
always advisable for customers to update their recent information as contact
points.
